Production
As part of the implementation of the priority investment project by Kovrovlesprom LLC, a modern high-tech sawmill has been created, focused on the production of high-quality dry lumber that meets domestic and foreign standards (GOST 26002-83, Nordic Timber).
The purpose of the enterprise
The main goal of the project is a modern rational approach to the use of forest resources of the Vladimir region, using the principles of integrated use of raw materials and further high-quality mechanical processing of wood.
Equipment
The milling and profiling line of the sawmill of the German company “SAB Sägewerksanlagen GmbH” has been installed as the head sawmill equipment, with a processing volume of up to 200,000 cubic meters of sawn raw materials per year with two-shift operation.
The site of debarking of sawn raw materials is equipped with a two-rotor debarking machine of the Finnish company Valon Kone. The drying complex consists of six periodic drying chambers of the Czech company KATRES with a single loading volume of 150 cubic meters each.

A round timber sorting line and a raw/dry lumber sorting line equipped with optoelectronic systems for determining the geometric dimensions of semi-finished products and finished products have been installed.
Two boilers of the Kovrov Boilers company were put into operation, using sawmill waste, namely bark and sawdust, as fuel. In addition to high-quality dry lumber, the technology of sawmilling on the milling and profiling equipment used makes it possible to produce high-quality technological chips (C-1 brands) for sale to pulp and paper production both on the domestic market and for export.
